An Orphan Child Poem by Mridul Upadhyay

An Orphan Child

I was alone on the roads and streets,
Almost in the whole world.
I lived in a hut,
With a roof cut.
No one was there to help me out,
No one was there to hug me.
Praise me when I did something good,
Scold me when I did something wrong,
Tell me the difference of good and bad,
No one bought me up,
I grew on my own,
No one was there to hold my hand,
I was alone on this big land
