An Outsider Poem by Palitha Ranatunge

An Outsider

I crept over the wall
And crawled to your window
I can feel your heart
That is silently pounding
In a deep slumber,

The world is dead
Even the air stood still
The day I was buried
I struggled for this
But doubt with fear.
