An Unloved Rose Poem by Rachel Aurelien

An Unloved Rose

All it wanted was love,
But the sun didn't shine in its way
And the grass grew with their backs facing away
It waits for the rain but it never came when it prayed
And when it did, the rain missed it like it was standing under a forbidden shade
The wind blew around it
The bees flew around it
The grass grew around it
Its pain grew stronger
cries grew louder
Silently
It withers inside quietly.
