An Untamed Tongue Poem by mark anthony st. rose

An Untamed Tongue

Gossip! Gossip!
Chatta! Chatta!
A Juicy story,
truth; doesn't matter.

Whispers here,
whispers there.
A tongue untamed,
the greatest fear.

Libels, slanders,
famous innuendos.
Where it all started,
no one knows.

Or cares to know
its source.
A friend defamed,
not my loss.

Oh how fast it travels,
speed of light.
Should I tell you,
I think I might.

Gossip! Gossip!
Chatta! Chatta!
A juicy story,
truth; doesn't matter.
