And So Farewell

Imprisoned by himself to a life
of solitude. Alone to decipher real
from fake. And so farewell.
His only company his ill thoughts
of past pain, leading to a mistrust
of man and mankind. And so farewell.
Time has ravaged his mind,
contact, a now foreign concept, has
lost another son. And so farewell.
