And Then You Know Poem by Bill Mitton

And Then You Know

In an instant I saw it clearly.
This smiling girl
was
no longer a casual date,
but the person who
filled
all the corners of my life.
In her eyes I saw the
future.
In the passing of a
heartbeat
my life was made
anew.
In one breath
Time stood still
and
we
became a lifetime.

I agree with Judy Levine. The romance is so sweet.

Bill, this is so, so, sweet. I'm still feeling the romance in it. Thanks. j.
