And Those Fields What Remain.. Poem by Dr PJ Raj Kamal

And Those Fields What Remain..

Rating: 5.0

I stay by the highway broad
Once a winding village road
Amid paddy fields and drain
Where peasants toiled to gain

I stay by the highway broad
Now all shops and malls a crowd
And in those fields what remain
The poor peasants toiled in vain
