And We Were Young

And knowing where to lie,
we dug our graves.
The earth,
our bed forever was our friend.

Never trained for this,
straining at the bit of right and wrong.
We were young to young to know,
just what we did.

But life goes marching on the living of,
you must endure.
Enduring what we did and like before.
Find out what I am, before your gone.
Old though I may be,
you are to young to know my name.
