And You Were Gone Poem by melissa martic

And You Were Gone

Rating: 5.0

And You Were Gone

Dark was the night you wanted to part
Shattered in pieces, was my heart
One last blink from a lone firefly
Lost in the tear that fell from my eye
Like our love, it faded away
Nothing I said, could make you stay
the flame expired
