Angel Call Poem by Rose Simone

Angel Call

An Angel came to me,
By my bed.
She didn't say a word,
But I knew what she said.
I didn't mean to wake you,
In the middle of the night.
But only came to ask you,
Are you sure that you're alright?
I really seemed to know her,
As if we've met before.
But she didn't have much time,
And I longed for so much more.
I told her I'd be alright,
Until we meet again.
You see she was no stranger,
Instead she was my friend.
I shouldn't have remembered,
That she came to me at all.
But if I ever need her help,
All I need to do is call.
