An angel in a stone
Comes to me
Asking me to hold her
Every time I want to leave this world
Every time I want to run
And hide or want to cry
She’ll put me under her wing
And hold me safe
From all the evil in the world
And from those who wish to cause me harm
When I need someone to talk to
She claims to always be there
She’ll be my listener
The only one I really need
She’ll be my protector
This little angel in a stone
