There are times when she´s up
and then days when she´s down
there are times when she strives
and others when she tries

That little angel is left out there
alone in her sorrow
feeling all the pain in her hands
with nobody to understand

Why doesn´t he dare
like he did yesterday
why doesn´t he dare
to look into tomorrow

That brave angel is dying
in her sleep she is crying
but nobody can see
this was never meant to be

She holds on to her hopes
knowing he won´t come back
his promise is in a rope
that strangles around her neck

She cannot breathe no more
she cannot see her track
her life is like a ship
against the shore to be wrecked

Her wings will not open
they are broken
With his love could be repaired
but I guess he never cared

So she´s waiting on a cloud
for a love that was impossible
and she shouts out
why me, what did I do

But nobody can hear her
storms and lightning
she´s creating
pirates are fighting
the furious sisters
of the little angel

With tremendous power
is this their answer
to clean off this sour
for believing in you
the awaiting gangster

No, this cannot be
please talk to her
all this can be stopped
if you say that you love her
because she still loves you

She turns around
and sees someone behind
his voice is soft and kind
come sweet angel
give me your hand
we must leave this town

I know, she replies
I know it is the time
I can hear the bells sound
and as they fly
into the deepest of the sky
a little tear falls
unto the hand of a man

He looks at it and sees
how it turns before his eyes
into a little butterfly

What is this, magic?
he asks surprised
you are beautiful
where did you come from?
I came from the skies
turning into the angel
before his astonished eyes

Now I must go away
but why can you not stay?
I must leave you now
I just came to say goodbye
but tell me why
this is the only way

She came closer and kiss his lips
and turned around to leave
will I see you again
I really don´t know
my sweetest friend
my mission here
has come to an end
but one thing you must believe
I will always love you so

He saw her fly away
into the dark night sky
thinking I hope some day
my angel will be back
my angel butterfly
but all that happened
was meant to be
now I understand
now clearly I see
that was the reason
why she came to me

I love you too, you know I do
he shouted far
to a passing shooting star
he made a wish to see her again
this is just the beginning
this love will never end
and this love she taught me
I forever shall defend.
