Angers Sweet Adultery
we didn’t deserve it
you and i
that kind of realization
as young as we were.
and yet, there it was
rolling in on the edge of clouds
caught forever in our breath.
one moment
two
and we were
always meant to be
there
even if we never
knew.
So there you go,
there you have it
there it lives
even if we forget it ever was born.
