Anguish Poem by Rosalie Doyle

Anguish

Rating: 0.5

Rain washed trees
The soft spring breeze
How I long to seize
This floating moment that frees
My soul from the sordidness it sees
Drub glazed eyes
Smog filled skies
The childrens' cries
The fathers' highs
The mothers' lies
The grandmothers' sighs
AIDS everywhere-hunting and fear
Burdened and alone
Friends once so dear
No way of sun to catch my tear
