Anguish Poem by Deborah M. Hodgetts

Anguish

Rating: 5.0

Anguish (Title)

With every drop of rain
I sign your name.
For a love like this,
Could never come.

With every drop of blood,
I feel the pain.
Thou I know not it’s name.
Just the love that it has taken;
And the anguish that is to come.

As love lies bleeding.

A good depiction of tragedy in bliss of love, well articulated, nicely encapsulated, and insightfully penned in poetic diction with conviction. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing Deborah. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
