Announcement Of Darling Before Christmas Poem by ahmed khaled

Announcement Of Darling Before Christmas

Rating: 4.9

i sang for you
how honest i sang
i sang till i did fall down
like a wounded, wild bird
the no complaints are his wings
the no ends
and the no space infinity
so he crossed the all..
the time, the place, the nothings
the seas and the oceans
only to see you
to see your sea colour eyes
wishing to be underneath
with butterflyfishes
shiny pearls
and coral
where no sky is..
just swimming
with ancient love
veiled in silence
as moon and stars
no sorry for himself
thus, waiting for you
and you waited never
darling..
so he lost the way
dancing in all directions
with no destination
like a slain nightingale
lived to sing
and died to live
to stand
to fly..
and to sing again
for you
and only for you
my darling..
my poem.

The poem is so beautiful, one understand what you're saying, but cannot really describe the depth of meaning. And I guess that's what poetry is about, the feeling of pondering over words written by someone else. Trying to capture the true essence of spirit. Great piece, Ahmed.

Wonderful poem, such a complex symphony in hearts to green land of mind. I like the way you deliver and point a poetic gesture here, it so softly written, more to touch inside readers' heart..Keep writing, seems like you have more time to write now_Unwritten Soul
