*another Anthem Poem by Christopher's Dead

*another Anthem

Rating: 2.6

I’m a messenger for the common man
Nothing more than a f**king fallen cherub rock
I’m a bleeder for all the teenage girls
And boys out there, listen to your hearts
If you wanna get out there on the floor
Shake it up a bit, show ‘em what you got
This is love to live, a drug to ease your mind
Something more than a group of dissipated parts

And I hope you know we’re organized

[Chorus]
It’s just another anthem, woah-oh
Giving everything we got tonight
Trying to remember, this is how
We make our dreams become real
I’m just another anthem, woah-oh
Doing everything I can tonight
When you’re searching for the answers, coming up short
Turn your head to the heavens and scream, “I am not alone! ”

There’s adrenalin rushing to the brain
Tell the body parts, we have nothing to fear
Will we run all the way to the edge of the Earth
Through the fire and the flames, we will persevere
I have to shout ‘til my lungs collapse
‘Cause I know it won’t be the death of me
If we stick together, like punk rock mankind
Our personality cult, start a revolution here

And I hope you know we’re loving life

[Chorus]

And I’m gonna ink my arms
With my intentions
Flip off the sky
With no restraints
We will sing this song
‘Til the end of time
No one can stop us now
Let’s blow it up

[Chorus]
