Another Life Poem by Matthew Peel

Another Life

I'll leave behind these parts
Of me that weigh my head down
As I lay to rest, dear old agony
I am no man of God, nor follower of evil
But an innocent soul, suffered in war
When ends draw near, I'll pull forth
And find another life to call mine.
