Another Reason - Poem by david kush

Wrap me in memories
Of happy days gone bye
Let me close these eyes
And never hear the word goodbye
For they keep me from a saddness
A pain that's hidden inside
Making whats left of this life
Worth wakeing to dawns new light
For without them I have nothing
Except another reason to cry
Let me dream of a life with you
When night is drawing near
For it is better to have something
Then nothing at all my dear

It's Ok...which is to say it is not bad in content, but the rhymes are lame and predictable.. (Report) Reply
