Another New Year's Eve
So hard to believe
A year that came and went
No message sent
Another year older
Growing colder
Celebrating here and there
As I sit in my chair
Watching TV all day
Which game will I play?
People come and gone
Sitting all alone
Good year or bad?
No reason to be sad
A beginning and an end
Patience wearing thin
My words, I arrange
While waiting for a change
Looking forward to the new year
Of change, no fear
I'll just follow down the path I'm lead
Strength of faith, unsaid
