Answer To Happiness Poem by Indigo Wisdom

The harder the search for happiness
The more elusive it appears
For whether we know it or not
It is always near

For happiness is an attitude
A simple way of life
It is not some deep dark secret
Hiding away from light

It is there in the way you approach your day
The way in which you speak
The thoughts you allow to form
Both the strong and the weak

Some believe they must strive for it
Like a battle to and fro
The fight becomes all consuming
Reality becomes the foe

Take a moment to really see
What it is that makes you smile
Then expand your thoughts
With a warm heart all the while

The answer to true happiness
Is all about how your perceive
What life has to offer you
And whether you are ready to receive
