Anthem Of Love Poem by bakuli bhakali

Anthem Of Love

Rating: 5.0

Oh Dear! Don’t take me for granted
For I love you
I’m not a casket of honey
That, each time you’ll come
And I’ll serve

Oh Dear! Don’t take me for granted
For I love you
I’m only me in every way possible
If I bloom as bud
I may fade as a flower

Oh Dear! Don’t take me for granted
For I need you
Life was not horrible without you
But it’s more beautiful with you

'Oh Dear! Don’t take me for granted For I need you Life was not horrible without you But it’s more beautiful with you' Yes, but some people understand this a little too late.. Loved your use of the flower metaphor.. Love is like a flower plant.. One can't simply plant it and forget.. It takes time, care and hard work to turn a sapling into a tree with flowers.. Thank you Bakuli. A fine poem oncr again...
