Anticipation Poem by Howard Kern

Anticipation

Rating: 5.0

Here enduring a wait, and weight,
Ready to start before time I wait,
Each sound outside multiplies a wait,
Longing my love has become weight,
Time is short to wait, wait, and wait,
On the phone hoping to shorten a wait,
No answer at all exaggerates a weight,
Sitting or on-line I wait, and wait,
Doctor's answer or lawyers face I wait,
A love made by me is a weight,
As time slips by I learn in wait,
Learned in life's short run is the wait,
Emancipation calls free of weight,
Intellect rules as emotions drool in wait,
Criminals in jail can't stand their wait,
Writing rhymes lessen times with weight,
Hoping a reply I still must wait,
I've learned the burn of wait and weight,
I wait ridding weight.

To hold the weight and wait it is only the weight, but we put the weight in the waiting, it gives the asset of weightless wait otherwise it was a waste of wait,10++
