Anxiety Poem by Paul Gomez

Anxiety

I want to live it up,
but I can never live it down.
I wanted to touch the sky,
but I'm stuck here on the ground.
Looking for something good,
getting dizzy looking around.
I stop to breathe the air
I feel I'm going to drowned.

Can't put my finger on it because I don't know what it is.
I see something I want and it's already his.
Apathy is growing and I'm running out of time.
Knowing all that you possess will never be called mine
