Anywhere But Here Poem by Tcia Bone

Anywhere But Here

Away from the wolves
I want to be clear
Wake up tomorrow, an angel
Anywhere but here

Where I might have purpose
Or at least happiness and rest
Watch over others
How can I serve best

Theres only one way to the heavens
And it has to be right
So for now im stuck here
Each day and every night

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this poem in January,2012 at the peak of my chronic pain in both arms. This pain took away my independance and prevented me from partaking in my passion and livelyhood of music
