Apology Poem by Leaking Pen

Apology

I am torn between logic's point of view,
And my desires to let go with no edits.
This tug of war in my poetic life
Like the earth's seismic shifts, I too shift a lot.
My emotion is like a newly discovered oil well pours out from me
Uncontrollable in wee hours of the night,
And blasts its way through my keyboard
And make me type in all caps…
I go to bed as if I settled a score.
I wake up the next morning
And try to do a critical review:
Oh God! Did I write this the night before?
100 percent are the chances
I will re edit this work
Many times again!
Please bare with me.

This is actually the life of a writer from creation to surprises, from experimenting to checking and editing. I love this. Keep on writing and let your pen leak to us here on the net through the eyes that read.
