Appeal From Sparrow Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Appeal From Sparrow

Appeal from sparrow

Listen, listen and listen
You all sensible human
Why have you gone crazy?
Working against wishes of an almighty

Why do you cut trees?
Why are making us to flee?
Nowhere any safe place to go
Where to find river flow?

We are becoming extinct
On ground face danger from insects
Nothing to breed and build nest
It is really acid test

Make some room
Plant trees and bring blossom
Gardens are not sufficient
Make nature's real presence

You may also loose race
Wiped out from earth's face
Rivers may spate
Sealing your fate
