Apple Tree Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Apple Tree

Rating: 5.0

I have grown each year
Now my presence towers
Shiny leaves are plentiful
My buds are bursting into flowers

Gentle showers strengthen
Warming sun increases my zest
Generating a prosperous blush
Of bountiful apples that attest

Come into my branches
And see what my arms hold
Luscious fruits are waiting
To be plucked and sold

Wonderful assets that give pleasure…
Crunching into fresh salivating flavor
Baking in a crust with cinnamon spice
A delightful fruit to enjoy and savor
