Architects Of The Future Poem by Vincent Topp

Architects Of The Future

The crime is in your own personal betrayal
It will never come gift wrapped by loving precise fingers
Exhale your fear, inhale some courage
It’s in the unseen
As well as the obvious.

Never require an audience as your God
Be a knight of the lie slayers
Protectors of truth
Don’t become a punchline to a joke
Show eternal optimists have a right to a place at the table.

Years will disappear off the end of the horizon
The sheer drop to the history pile
Find the future you deserve
It’s in the risk, It’s in the chance.

Hope is always the last to leave the room
Find a muse, Find the performance of a lifetime
All the luck in the world
Is out there, To be or not to be for you.

Everyone’s a critic, Everyone’s a player
Find the frequency to your own personal beat
That makes it all come a stirring to life
Top of the mountains where you plant your own flag of achievement
In the fields of prosperity
Where fertile soil brings a multitude of rewards
Where a little hope is raised from this dirt
The demigod and frauds are buried in a pit of superstition.

A flash of change grabbing a little hope from the jaws of defeat
Let your tired eyes become soothed to the aura of potential
You’re only broken when you decide your broken
From dawn to dusk help share your own brave new world.

Conserve your energy it’s a precious commodity
It’s a necessity to make foolish mistakes, no learning comes from being right
Be a fool for a day and not a lifetime
A one in a billion chance is still a chance.

The finishing line is waiting
The fairy tale is rewriting itself a day at a time
We are the architects of the future, our futures.
