Armegeddon Poem by Thirteen Tears

Armegeddon

armegeddon
the end of it all
man will be judged
and he will fall
into the pit of flame
the burning lake
of the tree of life
he will never partake
alone in a maelstrom
of swirling fire
for ever and ever
and he can rise no higher
the thirst in his throat
will break his voice
all this he'll suffer
because of an earthly choice
he never listened to the kids
from the church down the street
he'd rather watch the game
and see if his team gets beat
twelve hundred and thirteen chances
he had to convert
six hundred and forty three people
tried to save the pervert
now his skin is on fire
he's alone and scared
and he remembers in life
just how little he cared
all the children in heaven
they dance and they shout
as the holy gates open
and Jesus walks out.
