Army Wife - Poem by Vanessa Kingsley

Waiting every night
For an ominous phone call
Resenting waking up alone in the night
Swollen with pride
Enveloped by fear
What will happen this year

A reality very well expressed. The situation is pictured with realism. (Report) Reply

IM IN THE ARMY SWEETHEART SO I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL BEEING THE WIFE OF A SOLDIER. BUT KNOW MAMI THE SOLDIER FEELS YOUR PAIN AND NOT ONLY THAT BUT HE ALSO FEELS THE SAME WAY YOU DO. JUST KEEP YOUR HEAD UP AND STAY BY HIS SIDE 110% AND EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT. (Report) Reply
