Around The World
O' my leaders around the world,
Delivering speeches on peace and brotherhood!
Have you ever looked back to see
On how much huge heap of human carcass
And on a pile of hatred and anger
Your leadership stands alone? ?
O’ my religious Gurus
Have you ever realized that in the name of religion
And to establish one’s superiority over all others,
How much blood shed and murders
Did claim these religions so far?
Is it not a mockery
In the name of leadership and religion
To ruin the history of mankind? ?
Are you really some leaders to lead
Or some tyrants to destroy humanity? ?

You are quite right Amitava! It is in the name of religion that the most heinous atrocities have been committed since time immemorial! But no religion has so far preached violence.Man in his selfishness distorts values and scriptures to suit to his ends! The power mongering leaders also unleash a lot of violence! A powerful write on the sad state of affairs!

yes, too many false and misleading 'leaders' & 'gurus', all around.. but the real problem is that 'we' - the people - choose them (the wrong guys) too often.. truly a well penned poem. Thank you, Amitava

God gives free will to every person. Loves everyone - and lets him do what person likes. that is why there is so much evil in the world. but He gives signals inside every soul and will finally punish in the end.
