Where do you live to write about such tragic events? Is this poem indeed historically significant? (Report) Reply

Beautiful poem again from you. Its very positive message...
May be the heavy work load, at the end just a penny, so many stomach to feed, tumbled in worries, so may lead to way to arrack..But some do it just for fun also....may be they may change once they get good income, then some positivity in their life will surely come. A dream they can think of something optimistic. Unemployment, under wages..one of the main reasons for this.. Loved the message you wanted to convey it. (Report) Reply

Hi. I understand the message of this poem, but the problem is that you make it too obvious. You literally say what you want to get across - I would hint at it in a fashion that more involves the reader. For example, use more metaphors and imagery to help people to understand without making it too simple. :) (Report) Reply

Sympathy in the beginning was what I saw, then it turned to somekind of persuasion to stop drinking liquor. Nicely written with good intentions. Good job. Thanks for inviting me to readyour poem, it's my pleasure. (Report) Reply

Misery of downtrodden section of India is painfully pictured here.It is a everyday life of toiling people of our nation. Let us pray god to free this great nation from this menace. Nice sentments and feelings for fellow men. (Report) Reply

the poem starts off well with sympathy for the laborers who drink because it gives them some respite from their daily suffering. But will campaigning solve their problems? Wouldn't it be a better idea if we think of ways to provide them alternative means of employment? (Report) Reply

I like the way you capture the plight of the poor, their longing to escape the reality of their painful existence through the oblivion of alcohol. A good poem with a message.

I am not familiar with the term arrack? Is this a name for an illegal drinking den? (Report) Reply
