Arrogant People I Meet Every Day Poem by Francis Duggan

Arrogant People I Meet Every Day

Every day of my life more of them I do meet
There are plenty of them they live on every street
In their faces my own reflection I do see
The flaws I see in them I do see in me
Arrogant people I meet every day
But then I too am arrogant in my own way
It takes one to know one some are known to say
I have not grown wiser though my hair has grown gray
They live in every city and village and town
Arrogant people are black, white and brown
Arrogance does not have a Nationality or does not have a Race
It does not have a Country or a Homeplace
In every Country and everywhere
There are billions of them in the big World out there.
