Artistic Gifts Fade Unused Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Artistic Gifts Fade Unused

teen latent tendencies
scattered unfocused
might briefly flame
then splutter pass away

artists rage in passion
or barely simmer produce
skill technique are tools
inspiration imagination

pale neutralized inert
compulsive irresistible urges
force cursed driven artists
to produce mind symphonies

Beautiful poem, truthful and well written. All the great were borderline madmen and women.
