As A Young Boy Poem by Jay Reynolds

As A Young Boy

As a young boy

I remember
seeing a plastic
Jesus statue
with a finger
pointing to
his Heart

I remember
waking up
on Cold
frosty mornings
and reading
Notes of
Jack frost
on each window

I remember
in the Early
hours of the
morning
Three Taps
on the window
and waking up
to the Old Hag
staring

I remember
asking my
Mom
many Questions
and her
saying
Only God
knows
