As He Hung On The Cross Poem by Carol D. Meeks

As He Hung On The Cross

Rating: 3.8

He asked for their forgiveness;
Their ruler was killed;
The Creator was destroyed.

Truly, they knew not what they did,
And He asked His Father
The crucifiers, them, to for give.

Piece of great elegance, well articulated, nicely encapsulated and brilliantly penned with spiritual insight. A devotional, praise, thanksgiving piece of poetry depicting total submission to His Will. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
