As I Poem by John Shea

As I

As I wander through this life
I wonder
As I grow older and bolder a brazen soldier
I quake
As I ponder the question and confession
I pray
As I Live sup and partake
I survive
As I love fondle and feel
I submit
As I perish I smile and file a brazen soldier
To the pearly gates.
