As I, As You... Poem by Alice Stray

As I, As You...

As I pass you in the hall,
Staring into your eyes,
As you stare into mine,
Maybe,
Maybe just someday,

As I stop,
Turning to you,
As you turn to me,

Are eyes will touch,
A firey spark,
gleaming brighter than the sun,
Maybe,
Maybe just someday,

We won't pass,
But be holding hands,
As I turn to you,
And move closer,
As you turn to me,
Are lips touch,

A gleaming and even brighter spark,
Shooting around the world,
We are only love.
