As I Begins Poem by Patrice Delevoe

As I Begins

As the walls closes in, isolation begin
Yowls echo through the room from the door hinge
Hostage captured, the lights run away
Betrayal, dishonestly, overwhelming hate

As the sheets grips tight, suffocation begin
Headphones screeching you're lonely once again
Hostage eyes stare at the wall, such a blank stare
Depression, loneliness, and anxiety feels the air

As the bed cringe, suicidal thoughts begin
Pillows feigned nervously against the cheek
Hostage tears flows, rolling in the deep
Love, trust, respect burglarized without a key
