as I watch,
you slither away,
never to return,
but maybe someday.

you think I'll cry,
because your gone,
it will never happen,
not even at my last dawn.

but look at you,
with a huge smirk,
thinking you hurt me,
but your just a jerk.

I won't cry,
at least not for you,
you're just a waste of time,
this we both knew.

it's sad though,
that you didn't see,
I'm stronger than that,
so just let me be.
