As If Poem by MARINA GIPPS

As If

Rating: 5.0

The words spill from letters
signed, dated, strewn across a ground
where only silence speaks

In a dusk so pure
every hair on the body becomes
virginal.

Little tufts of wings at either side of my head
hear silence, silence
in flight as if memory.
