As If In A Game Of 'show And Tell' Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Some people live their lives,
As if in a game of 'Show and Tell'.
Needing they do,
To be noticed and identified.
And existing with an attention given,
Needed to prove they occupy space.

And with a doing of it unsolicited,
That seems to require more emphasis...
With a producing of more chatter,
Comparable to a disturbance made...
With a noise some wish would be silenced.
And more acceptable to others of common needs.
