As If Poem by Lynn Grassette

As If

Rating: 5.0

As if,
This love was just a trip;
You pack all your things
When the wind sadly shifts

As if,
Love is only a trick;
You take your magic box
Walking off, feeling slick

As if,
Tonight was just a fix;
The clothes go back on
And you leave without a kiss

As if,
I’m nothing that you'll miss;
You never admit,
That you wanted this

Effective structure for this content. Very clearly expressed indignation. Thoroughly good writing.
