As Long As The Stains Poem by Monica Lynn Mason

As Long As The Stains

Watching my last few drops,
Falling~hitting the floor-my heart stops.
I remember the smiles,
The warm embraces.
Realizing it will all cease in a little while,
It would be the end of my suffering,
All the sorrow, all the bickering,
It would stop, along with all of my pains.
But you, you will stand and remain,
Remember my loss, my pain you inflicted.
You will watch and listen now,
And you will stand and deny and regret,
All alone in you silent assylum of your heart and mind.
And you will remember my begging and loving you,
All of my heart and soul i gave to you,
It will all remain as long as the stains.
