As Ravishing As The Last Rose Of Spring Poem by Hebert Logerie

As Ravishing As The Last Rose Of Spring

Sparklingly belle as the virgin rose
Wearing long rainbow tresses
That the northern wind caresses.

Far from being gloomy or morose
Dressed in Sunday's best
Accented by voluptuous hips
And accentuated by gorgeous lips.
.
Exquisite like the lily of May
Oh! Your glossy and classic style
And your inviting smile.

I am stunned. I am high
On the moon. I sigh
I can only admire your beauty
I am afraid to touch your feet.

You are the angel of the fond fun
The star of the spring night
And the love dove of the pond.

Slick like the hookworm eating
The deepest part of the heart
X-outing the point of the dart
Headstrong, and revolting.

I'm facing the Muses. I sighed
Finally, I withdrew, and I cried.
