As We Wait For Godot Poem by no one

As We Wait For Godot

Shall we chat, dearest one
Or dance to pass the time?
While we wait for He to come and save us from our lives.

But alas, if nightfall falls again, we shall end our weary lives.
But we have no rope, not even one
We won't do it this time.

A lonely life, by this tree with non existent time.
Only the distraction of your sweet voice can prove that we have lives
So let us wait, kindest one

This is the one time we truly have lives.
