I reach my hand over,
To try and find the edge,
Theres nothing there.
Nothing to hold onto,
My eyes are closed,
They can not open,
I don't feel my hands
By my side,
I can't any more.
And no matter how I try,
I can't feel it any more,
I can't feel my breath,
Or the life thats inside,
You took it.
You took it away from me.
I reach again and again,
For the edge,
But its still not there.
What you said,
What you told me,
Is not what is here,
The day has come,
The one you spoke of,
But as I slip,
The edge is gone,
Your not here,
As you said you would,
So now I fall.
