Asaint
I was called a saint today
the words that seem to sting
how could I be THAT man
perfect for everything
I know I’m not the Christ you sought
I never wished to be
so please don't taint my wisdom
and tell your lies to me
don't pretend I’m something more
even if you feel the need
than I really am
because of my good deeds
but I was called a saint today
even with all my crimes
I don't deserve this honorable speech
I’ve sinned too many times
