Aspiration Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Aspiration

Tethering my hopes
As unsteady hands
Grope
On last straw
My rope

My be it'll rain
On this parched
Terrain
Fragrance of Earth
Easing my pains.

A slice
Of the rainbow
Just there
For me
Piece of that paradise
Where Ill too be free
Nalini
